Papua New Guinea - Organic Washed 8oz bag

$13.00

Grown in the mineral-rich volcanic soils in the Eastern Highlands of PNG, this Certified Organic (Highland Organic Agricultural Cooperative) Fair Trade coffee makes for a dynamic and sweet dark roast. Grown between 600-1500m (2000-4900’), don’t expect fruit flavor concentrations more in line with higher elevation coffees. This is the coffee we recommend for those who prefer a traditional Vienna or French roast. We don’t push these beans that far in order to preserve nuance and avoid any bitterness but the basic flavors remain.

Tasting notes: Dark cocoa, hints of sweet vanilla & caramel, slight cinnamon spice

Hipster tasting notes: Cloaked monks chant in cocoa-dusted robes. A vanilla comet pierces the charred sugar ether. Aged stone fruit drips from the ceiling of your subconscious. Cinnamon? A whisper from the past, or is it the future?

8oz resealable bag with one-way CO2 valve to preserve freshness
